So, what's a Fog?
I'm afraid you would ask that. Next time you're around, ask one the true FOG's, Bill or Brig. They are the seniors here and can best tell you. You might get a short and brief description or the longer story depending on their mood. Heck, you might even get a special prize wrapped in the funny papers! There is one thing that is certain, we owe our name to Krash, the ski patroller. RIP
Are you a Fog or a Fog in Training?
So what's the difference? If you're a fog, you are 65+ years old. In training, your under 65 and are dedicated to working your life around skiing until your retired and can do so officially. Ski first, work later is our motto! Are you up to it?
Why Solitude?
This season will be my 25th at Solitude, I'm lucky enough to ski 100-125 days a season, and there is no other place I'd rather be. We've got a family feeling that is beyond compare, it's like Solitude is Cheers and all us fogs are Norm. That's right, here everybody knows your name. We are just as fast to share a powder line as we would be to share a cold brew, or a warm smile. Yep, what we've got it so special but then again that's what you get when you mix a gang of great folks with such a great mountain as Solitude We Rock ! Crazy George 07 - 08

Legal Stuff
This website and no other is for the skiers who know that Solitude Mountain is the best place to go. For powder, for steeps, for friendships that last; but we don't speak for the management so don't even ask!
