Another year goes by... but it was a memorable one for me as I know it was for many others. This entry will be somewhat under construction for the next few days, so please check back. I asked many of you for your thoughts this year, so far I have received these. If you would like, please email me at blogmaster@solitudefog.com and I'll include yours.
Linda G from SLC, UT says: I can't believe I lived in Colorado for so long when the skiing in Utah is this great. You are welcome to quote me on that! See you at a Wednesday's luncheons, have a great party.
Travis C from SLC, UT says: I would just like to say thanks to you guys for all the ski lessons this season. I HAD A BLAST! Snowboard what snowboard? The crashing FOG in training.
Karl W from SLC, UT says: We have been spoilt rotten by Mother Nature this season, Thursday nights 5 inches has given us a season total of 569 inches. Since December 6th, when the 'real' skiing started with a 44 inch storm, I have had 106 days on my on my powder skis and only 11 on my groomer skis, the most consistent season ever. Thank you
Crazy G from SLC, UT says: I've been a pass holder at solitude for the past 25 years and I don't ever remember a season like this one. The only thing that compares to how great the season was is how big the smiles are from all our Friends are--we at solitude "R" blessed ! (xxx days 'till next season, hehe see below) peace & love
Ron H from SLC, UT says: As your blogmaster I really enjoyed doing the blog this year and what a season to write about. I logged 94 days, over 1.2m vertical and had such a great time, not only skiing but with all the people that I had the opportunity to ski with. It is great to be with those that have the same passion. Discover new areas on the resort, do it fast, do it deep, share a moment, a smile, a laugh, and then to find a place where we can gather and be with friends. There is only one thing that would make it better, to be able to do it again next year with all the same people and hopefully some new ones too. Oh, throw in some great snow too...Thanks, it was awesome!
More to come....
